The Blind Paralympic Academy that will be held June 4th and 5th, 2010 at the Governor Morehead School in Raleigh,
NC. The purpose of this event is to train coaches, teachers and other professionals in ways to teach and coach the
adaptive sports for the visually impaired. In addition to this training opportunity, we are also inviting people with visual
disabilities to come try out the sports on Saturday the 5th.  Participants will get a chance to try out new sports while giving
the trainers an opportunity to practice their newly learned coaching methods.

Bridge II Sports has partnered with both the USABA (United States Association of Blind Athletes, US Paralympics and
the Governor Morehead School to offer a Blind Paralympic Academy. There will be training in 4 adaptive sports:
Goal Ball,
Track & Field, Tandem Cycling and Judo
. The second day will be open for participants ages 8 & up to experience these
new activities. We are expecting a great turn out. The objective of this event is to grow and focus interest in an adaptive
