Find the Player Within
Find the Player Within was held June 7, 2008 at the downtown Durham YMCA,
with five adaptive sports being taught by experienced players. Finding the
Player Within was an inclusive sports event for anyone, over the age of 8, who
is physically challenged and uses a wheelchair.
Participants rotated through hand cycling, wheelchair basketball, weight and
cardiovascular training, wheelchair tennis and sit volleyball.
