Tennis

Wheelchair tennis is a US Paralympic sport, which follows the same rules as able bodied tennis, except a wheelchair athlete can let the ball bounce twice. Wheelchair tennis is an inclusive sports and able bodied players and wheelchair players can play doubles together. At Bridge II Sports, we encourage people to play how they feel most comfortable and we have people who are amputees choosing to play standing up. Any way works for us, as long as you are having fun! Tennis is a great sport for people with spinal cord injury and who are amputees.
A great article on James, one our wheelchair tennis athletes. Take a look!
