Track & Field
Bridge II Sports has a track and field team called the Rollin' Bandits. Our team is open to both youth and adults. Events included in adapted track and field are: sprint (100m, 200m, 400m), middle distance (800m, 1500m), long distance (5,000m, 10,000m) and relay races (4x100m, 4x400m), marathons, jumping events: high jump, long jump and triple jump, and throwing events: discus, shot put, javelin. Middle school and high school athletes are able to compete on their school teams and score points. More information about this is provided below. Bridge II Sports is proud of our wheelchair athletes that are competing and scoring points for their schools! Track and field is a great sport for people with spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, or who are blind, low vision, or amputees.
