Spotlight

Bridge II Sports highlighst our athletes around the state for their unwavering dedication, hard work, and accomplishments regularly. Every time they shine in our eyes, we want to make sure they shine in your hearts. For example in 2009, a young lady by the name of Jill Moore became the first wheelchair athlete in North Carolina to compete in regional and state finals in Track and Field, and score points for her team. This occurred at Northwest Cabarrus High School, out of Concord, NC, and it showcases the degree of talent and impact young athletes have. She was a huge stepping stone in the movement of adaptive sports into able-bodied competitions within our public High Schools; and each month, you will continue to see this journey within our athletes.
