What is your favorite thing to do and why?

Hanging out with friends because I enjoy having company.

What is your favorite sport to play and why?

Wheelchair basketball because I like the competition and being part of a team. It also gives me a chance to be around other kids with disabilities. I feel like I fit in with the team.

How long have you played adapted sports?

This is the third year that I have played for the Jr. Thunder.

How has playing sports changed you?

It has given me more confidence in my abilities and makes me feel like I can be good at anything if I want to.

What does it mean to you to be able to play sports?

Since it's hard for me to play regular sports, playing wheelchair basketball gives me a chance to play a sport that I love.

Who is your hero and why?

My parents because they take the time to make sure that I get to practice and to my tournaments. And also Mrs. Ashley because she cares so much about us kids.

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful that there is an organization like BridgeIIsports. It gives me a place where I can play sports with kids like me that have a disability.
