Have you wanted to get back out on the dance floor but you’re not sure how after disability has affected your life?

Have you always wanted to be confident dancing at social events or with your significant other?

You’re in luck! Bridge II Sports is teaming up with ComMotionNC to offer a social dance program in November and December– just in time to dance in the new year!

ComMotion – Community in Motion, is an organization “with the mission of bringing the joy of movement and dance to the community here in the Research Triangle, and beyond.”

This program uses social dancing to improve balance, coordination, social interaction, memory recall, self-esteem, physical conditioning, and body awareness.
A dedicated group of professional instructors will teach a variety of dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Waltz, and Tango as a fun and social way to both exercise and connect with others.

$25 fee per session  (fee covers an individual or a couple)

Sessions are 45 minutes followed by a 45 minute practice party.
No partner and no prior dance experience is needed.

People with physical disabilities and their family & friends are encouraged to participate.
Dance movements can be adapted for all abilities.

All sessions are at the Shared Vision Center (our neighbor at Bridge II Sports!)
