To honor one of their brothers that passed away in a tragic accident two years ago the men of the ATO Fraternity at Duke University hold an annual fundraiser in his memory.

This year they chose to donate money raised from ‘The Day for Doh Boy’ Hockey Tournament to Bridge II Sports.
We are so humbled and honored by this generous gift.

Michael ‘Doh Boy’ Doherty was a compassionate and caring young man. He was an accomplished mechanical engineer in Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering and a gifted athlete who was the incoming president of the club hockey team.

The brothers of ATO believed Mike would have loved what BIIS embodies. We believe he would have too- wish he could be here to be a part of it- but are so grateful that his brothers have found a way to allow his legacy to live on – giving people with physical disabilities the opportunity to find their passion for sports.

ATO Philanthropy Co-Chair Dan Raftis stopped by to present the donation to Ashley Thomas this week.

Thank you for finding us and making us a part of this special event.
