The Bridge II Sports kayaking season ended this past week capping off a wonderful summer at Lake Crabtree.
This program continues to grow year after year. We were so happy to introduce so many new athletes who had never paddled to the freedom of the water.
One of the joys of kayaking is having everybody out on an equal playing field– or lake! In this picture alone athletes living life with visual impairment, stroke, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis join volunteers to come together as a community of paddlers.
Big thanks to Carol Rogers, Lead Volunteer and Bridge II Sports Board member, for taking the helm in instructing clinics and to a strong and dedicated crew of regular volunteers who share their infectious energy and love of paddling with our athletes
