Our athletes and coaches took the court at PNC Arena for a halftime wheelchair basketball demo during the NC State Mens game on Saturday November 23rd!
The demo game was displayed on the new video board accompanied by ‘play-by-play’ announcing.
Awesome experience for our young athletes to play on the big stage. Way to represent Team PRIDE!
By the time these players are ready for college let’s make sure we have a collegiate wheelchair basketball program in North Carolina. Wheelchair basketball is every bit as competitive and athletic as it’s ‘stand-up’ counterpart. Our kids deserve the opportunity to develop their skills and take it to the next level right here in their home state.
