Welcome our newest, and youngest, member of the BIIS Lowriderz cyclists!

Wyatt had his left leg amputated just a little over 2 weeks ago and was already out trying handcycling for the first time on Tuesday with Wes, Director of Programs, and Tony, BIIS athlete, who are both amputees as well.

Boy sidts on yellow handcycle smiling at camera. He has a below the knee left leg amputation. He is wearing sunglasses and a helmet with mohawk spikes on it.

“Today (16 days after the accident!) Wyatt got to meet Tony Luparello and Wes Hall from Bridge II Sports for a crash course (Literally! 😜 He took out the neighbors garbage can! 🤣🤣🤣) so these amazing guys could teach him how to use a hand bike and show him that just because he has a limb difference doesn’t mean he can’t do anything he sets his mind to!

Wyatt is so excited to be the newest member of the “LowRiderz” club and hasn’t stopped talking about his bike or Tony & Wes!! So glad to be a part of this amazing organization and thrilled that Wyatt has found these 2 gentlemen to look up to!! 🥰🥰🥰

Wyatt’s Mom
2 men are sitting on the bumper of a van posing with a young boy standing between them. The man on the left has 2 prosthetic legs and is holding a Bridge 2 Sports flag with the boy. The boy has a left leg amputation below the knee. The man on the right has a right leg amputation and is holding 2 crutches in his left hand. All are smiling widely.

A BIG THANK YOU to athlete Tony Luparello for connecting BIIS
to this family and for all of you that saw this young boy’s story
on Facebook and shared Bridge II Sports as a resource.
