No, you’re reading old news…The Charlotte Rollin Hornets, Abilities Unilimited of the Carolinas and Bridge II Sports are teaming up to host NC Winter Classic 2017. Back in February BIIS and AU of the Carolinas hosted NC Winter Classic at North Carolina State University. This ‘annual’ wheelchair basketball tournament trades off between AU and BIIS as main hosts and just so happened that another tournament coincided with a November date in 2016 so it was moved to February 2017.
THIS Winter Classic 2017 takes place November 4-5 at Porter Ridge High School (2839 Ridge Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079).
The BIIS Junior Thunder will be playing on Saturday November 4th at 8:30am, 1pm, and 3pm and then again at 8:30am on Sunday and a final game TBD.
This is as close to home as the Jr Thunder will be this year in tournament play so make your way to Charlotte and join the BOOM SQUAD and get loud cheering for your favorite team.
