  • VGSE22 WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL

    Here we go- the Summer of VGSE22 continues with the 3-on-3 Wheelchair Basketball Tournament!
    This is your chance to get on the court in spirited competition and camaraderie with other Veterans with disabilities from around the country.

  • Who?

    Any Veterans or service members with disabilties who have the ability to push a wheelchair are eligible to apply

    Non-Veterans/service members with physical disabilities are eligible to apply as well, but will be required to pay $100 fee AND also cover their own hotel accomodations.

  • WHEN?

    FRIDAY AUGUST 5: Athletes arrive in the afternoon for Check-In

    SATURDAY AUGUST 6: All-day Tournament

  • WHERE?

    Athletes are provided accomodations for the nights of August 5 & 6 at the VGSE22 designated hotel in Rocky Mount, NC area (TBD)

    Tournament August 6:
    Rocky Mount Event Center
    Rocky Mount, NC

  • COST?

    There is NO COST to Veterans or service members with disabilities participating in this event. Proof of service (DD-214, discharge papers, etc.) required at check-in.

    All meals plus two nights lodging at Valor Games Southeast specific hotel are provided DURING Valor Games Southeast to registered Veteran/Service Member athletes.

    *Should a Veteran/service member athlete want to room with an athlete who is NOT a Veteran or service member they may room together and there will not be a room charge to the non‐Veteran/service member athlete. It will be the responsibility of the Veteran athlete to inform Bridge II Sports of the request. However, should the Veteran/service member athlete have to withdraw from the event, and the non‐Veteran/service member athlete still wish to attend, the non‐Veteran/service member athlete must personally cover the cost of the hotel room.

    IMPORTANT: Athletes are responsible for their own transportation to and from Valor Games Southeast. Valor Games SE does not reimburse any personal expenses, including transportation, for participating athletes. 

  • PLAY!

    Those who have sportchairs are encouraged to bring them.

    Bridge II Sports will supply sportchairs for the tournament for those who do not have one.  Athletes must request a chair in advance and may be required to share with another athlete depending on need.
