Safe Sport Starts With Everyone.

The safety and well-being of every participant comes first. Bridge2Sports is committed to creating sports environments that are safe, respectful, inclusive, and welcoming for children, youth, adults, and individuals with disabilities.

In an Emergency

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 right away.

To report suspected child abuse or neglect, contact your county Department of Social Services or call North Carolina Child Protective Services at (919) 527-6430. The Bridge2Sports web form is not monitored around the clock and should not be used for emergencies.

Our commitment to safe sport.

Everyone involved in Bridge2Sports programs deserves a safe, respectful, and supportive setting. Staff, board members, volunteers, contractors, and partners are held to clear safeguarding standards designed to prevent harm and protect participants.

Bridge2Sports’ Sport Protection and Safeguarding Policy aligns with the U.S. Center for SafeSport, Move United, North Carolina mandatory reporting laws, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Before working directly with participants, individuals complete verification processes that include background checks and safeguarding training.

If You Have a Concern

A child is in immediate danger: Call 911.

You suspect child abuse or neglect: Report directly to the appropriate authorities. Submitting the Bridge2Sports form does not replace this responsibility.

You have a non-emergency concern about a Bridge2Sports program, participant, staff member, or volunteer: Use the reporting form below.

What happens next

Bridge2Sports takes every concern seriously and handles information with care. Information is shared only with those who need it to protect participants or meet legal reporting obligations. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is not tolerated.

Report a concern

Provide as much information as you can. Reports may be submitted anonymously, although remaining anonymous may limit the organization’s ability to investigate or respond.
