Competition. Camaraderie. Community.

Adaptive sports create a place to compete, reconnect, try something new, and be part of a team. Bridge2Sports helps veterans, active-duty military members, families, and friends connect with adaptive sports opportunities and Valor Games-related information in North Carolina.

Five Valor Games participants, including three wheelchair users and a mobility scooter user, sit in a gym with boccia balls.

For 13 years, Bridge2Sports was home to Valor Games Southeast, a three-day adaptive sports competition for veterans with disabilities. The event brought athletes together for indoor and outdoor sports including boccia, wheelchair basketball, air rifle, kayaking, and more, supported by expert staffing, equipment, lodging, and transportation.

The experience created opportunities to learn new sports, sharpen existing skills, compete, build connections, and discover adaptive recreation that could continue beyond the event.
