This variety gives participants the opportunity to explore different sports and discover what they enjoy most.
Don’t see a sport you’re interested in? Let us know! We’re always looking to expand our offerings and will do our best to incorporate new activities based on participant interest and available resources.

This program is open to individuals with physical disabilities and visual impairments of all ability levels. No prior experience is required—just come ready to try something new and have fun.
Friends, family members, and able-bodied participants are encouraged to join as well. Whether you’re supporting a loved one or simply want to experience adaptive sports in an inclusive environment, this program is designed for everyone to participate together.
-
The only requirement prior to attending an open gym is that participants create a RecLink account through Raleigh Parks and Recreation.
This allows our staff to quickly locate your information when you arrive. Once your account is set up, simply check in at the front desk—no additional pre-registration is required for open gym sessions!
