Congratulations to Bridge II Sports Events Manager and Marine Veteran, Katharine Doyle, on being selected as a 2021 “Outstanding Combat Female Veteran of North Carolina” by Combat Female Veterans Families United (CFVF United).
Former long-time Board member Woody Woodward nominated Katharine for this honor based on her selfless commitment to country through 3 combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan AND her commitment to community through her work at Bridge II Sports. Katharine personifies integrity, high character, and fortitude in all that she does to ensure that Veterans with disabilities stay active and engaged through the power of adapted sports.
