Where were you in 1987?
If you were here in the Triangle you couldn’t help but be caught up in the excitement and pride of the US OLYMPIC FESTIVAL
– still the largest sports event ever held in North Carolina!
This year in celebration of the 30th Anniversary the Triangle Sports Commission honored individuals who have continued the legacies of the Olympic Festival and made lasting contributions through sport to North Carolina.
ASHLEY THOMAS received the prestigious LEGACY AWARD on September 22 at the 30th Anniversary Celebration Reception and Banquet for her tireless work developing Paralympic and adapted sport in NC and creating opportunities for people with physical disabilities through Bridge II Sports. CONGRATULATIONS!
