Coronavirus (COVID-19) Prevention and Precautions at Bridge II Sports: Update 3.5.2020
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) expands across the United States, there is a chance that programming and events at Bridge II Sports may be impacted.
Our staff are vigilantly monitoring developments and recommendations here in North Carolina and on the national/world level.
Currently, all Bridge II Sports scheduled programs and events are ON as scheduled. Any changes/cancellations will be posted on our website www.bridge2sports.org and communicated via email to registered participants.
In an effort to safeguard the health and wellness of our athletes, families, volunteers, and staff we will follow these preventative recommendations:
* Most importantly, out of respect for yourself and others – if you are sick, or display symptoms STAY HOME. It is better to miss a program or event than to potentially get more sick or infect others.
* Practice good hand hygiene – All athletes, staff, family members and volunteers will wash hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival at program/event prior to participating. All will also be encouraged to wash hands during program/event breaks.
* We will adopt a “no handshake/high five” policy to lessen hand-to-hand contact.
* In sports sharing equipment is unavoidable. Bridge II Sports staff will continue to disinfect equipment after programs/events.
We care strongly about providing quality programs and events at Bridge II Sports but, above all, we care strongly about YOU and the health and well-being of everyone in our community.
Stay alert, safe and healthy!
Your Bridge II Sports Staff
