Athlete, Scholar, Tutor, and now Bookkeeper…this guy can do it all!
We are thrilled to announce that William Christy has joined our Bridge II Sports staff serving as our new part-time bookkeeper.
William grew up through the BIIS Junior Thunder wheelchair basketball program (now Team PRIDE) beginning in 2011 and has gone on to play for the Triangle Thunder adult team. Many of you may recognize William from his All-Star play on the court at August Madness (#1 Overall pick in 2019) or his advocacy for adapted sports at his alma mater, William Peace University.
In the summer of 2016, William interned at Bridge II Sports where we had the opportunity to see his strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail first-hand.
He went on to earn his Master of Arts degree from North Carolina State University in English, with a concentration in Literature in May of 2019. He currently works at NCSU as an academic tutor.
We are excited to be joined by someone who has lived our mission, has a deep passion for the power of adapted sports, AND the skills to do an incredible job in this role.
